Will we have donuts and bon bons?

No.  Those days are over.  The old you will be gone.

Can I invite friends?

Absolutely! friends and family always welcome.

Is it just military and first responders attending?

Our primary audience is military (guard, reserve, veteran, ROTC) fire, police, EMT, front line workers, DoD employees, as well as department of corrections employees, but anyone can attend!

Is there parking nearby?

There is $15 a day parking located inside our building attached to 30th street station.

Do I have to be there the entire time?

We strongly encourage you to be there for the entire day! (Note: only full day participants are eligible for certificate of completion from Penn State)

When do I need to be there?

Please be there at 0800 to check in.

When is the cooking class?

At lunch, from 11:45 AM to 1 PM.

(don’t worry there will be healthy snacks available throughout the day)

If I can't commit to this class?  Is there a follow-on cohort?

Of course! This is only the beginning. Our goal is to have an educational class quarterly.

Will I be on camera?

You might be filmed or photographed by our crew. Media waivers to be signed in the AM.
